Edwards Real Estate Edwards is a thriving community and the largest population center in Eagle County. Affectionately known as "the banana belt," the Edwards communities enjoy plenty of sunshine (more than 300 days a year!) and, during the springtime; skiers can enjoy fresh tracks down the mountain in Beaver Creek in the morning and, on the same day, teeing off the Sonnealp golf course in the afternoon! The recent approval of the development of the Fifth Filing at Berry Creek will create 282 units of affordable housing in a new urbanism style, along with a new recreation site, high school, and a new Colorado Mountain College campus.
