The bustling area of Glen Lyon and Cascade Village have joined in the overall redevelopment efforts of Vail, as the site of the old “ruins”, located just west of the Aria Spa Building, is coming to life as Westhaven at Cascade Village, 13 luxury condominiums ranging from $1.8 to $2.8 million.
The former site of Colorado Mountain College and the Cascade Theatre is being re-envisioned as the next expansion of Cascade’s brand of luxury, with eight Cascade Penthouses and eleven 2-5 bedroom+den residences in the Cascade Residences at Vail development.
An increasing trend in the Cascade area is to extend the entire service and amenity package (including room service, on-call spa and chef services, as well as housekeeping) to the surrounding luxury properties. Several single family homes nearby have created overall ownership packages, capitalizing on the increasing demands of second home owners, who want “everything under the sun."
